Sense you like your guns so well, Elroy will entertain you with a few pics of his 100 year old, dual action 38 Smith & Wesson
When was the last time you exercised a 100 year old fire arm ?

That is beautiful. I collect 1903's and shoot them frequently.

Went to the range this morning and fired this little gem for the first time

CBC 7.5” AR pistol with a SBA3 TAC brace. Chambered in .223 Wylde. Shot 150 rds of brass 55gr FMJ and 150 rds of 55 FMJ steel cased without a problem.

I then installed a CMMG 22LR conversion kit and shot about 300 rounds of pure plinking joy. Best fun you can have with an AR platform

It’s the closest thing to an SBR without doing the ATF paperwork - love it!

Had a few concerns about compatibility issues with .223 Wylde chambering, but it cycles fairly well with bulk 22LR ammo -- unless you really push it to shoot very fast. Then you have a few FTEs along the way. Shooting CCI Mini-Mags in this setup is the perfect diet if you really want to shoot very fast cyclic rates and avoid any FTF or FTE issues. Other than that, this morning I shot about 300rds of Thunderbolt bulk at a leisurely pace and it didn't hiccup once.

It's not a very high-end pistol, and I bought is just for fun -- never intending it to be a critical home defense or personal protection firearm. As an AR training aid it's perfect.

Our local store has those kits. I am going to pick on up and give it a try

How do these places budget for repairs or do they just pay when it blows?

They just paid some company to level that press slide and 2 days later it locked up. They call the professionals  When the amateurs mess it up. If I'm willing to bet I'm gonna say they sue the other company
