Post by: ron350 on November 22, 2020, 09:45:25 PM
Can you still order Craftsman tools from Sears?
I am looking for a 10mm combination wrench 6 point.#42867.

I don't think you'll be ordering anything American made if that's what you're looking for, but Sears did retain a 15 year right to continue use of the Craftsman name.
Personally I would check Ebay first.

Thanks Hickory n Steel the first place I looked was ebay.
When I attempt to order from Sears site it says they can’t ship to my zip code?

I had two matching Craftsman 10 mm that i used to bleed my brakes and now I can’t find one.

Thanks Goodfellow but I don’t see any 10 mm/ 6 point listings.

Sorry, I was gong to say that these are available everywhere; except 6pt. I really don't know who had the 6pts individually available. Maybe Harry Epstein Co. in MO can help out on that search.

One thing I did see at the local ACE a few weeks ago was a closeout on Craftsman singles. Among them was a series of 6pt offerings. Might want to check out your local store and check the individual racks.

How about shipping to a friend, who can USPS back to you?

I will leave the Sears on line alone just don’t trust it.

I will drive out to the ACE store and see what they have.

Not many Craftsman tools at my ACE hardware store
The closest thing on ebay is a SK SupercKrome wrench wonder where they are made?

AFAIK, all SK sockets and wrenches (not adjustables), from the 1930s to today, were made in one of these four plants:

Defiance, Ohio (now closed)
Chicago, Illinois (now closed)
Colorado Springs, Colorado (originally Western Forge plant)
Sycamore, Illinois (newly built by Ideal, SKs current owner)

There are other SK branded tools which were made by other companies for SK, but not wrenches or sockets.
