Today's take
« on: October 03, 2020, 06:56:38 PM »
Found this on Facebook.  Didn't need anything here, per se, but that shore looked like a purty Williams super ratchet.  And it was.  Believe it or not, the sockets are USA, mostly Williams.

$15 for the whole shootin' match.

Nice grab. In my opinion if that's an S52 it alone is worth more than what you paid they really are quite well built ratchets and pretty indestructible.

Excellent grab! I don't go to too many yard sales anymore because after all these years I have plenty of tools, but sometimes a lot like this will pop and you just can't help yourself --

That Williams ratchet is an eye catcher for sure. Nice lot for $15.

The Williams was what cinched it for me.  And I knew that was worth well more than $15.  Nice to get the other tools as well, I can usually use those to make another toolkit for something.

What I've been doing lately to get rid of tools I've accumulated from various buys over the years that I don't need is to put them in lots and sell them for $10-15 on CL.  I get the space back, get a little cash, and they go to someone that needs them.  It's funny, but sometimes it's harder to give stuff away for free than sell it for a few bucks.

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, it must be electrical.

Nice score.
Is that spinner handle branded Stanley, blackhawk , or JS ?
I've got one in the Gov't surplus JS technologies 1/4 set which, and it's all just rebranded Stanley professional.
And is that green cap screwdriver a Thorsen or some kind of lookalike?
Always lookin' to learn
