CL 23-60mm sockets
« on: May 27, 2019, 09:41:24 PM »
This guy reposted this ad a couple of hours ago. $240 seems like a pretty good price for S-K and Proto 3/4dr 23mm-60mm sockets 23pcs total.

about 10 bucks a piece. not a steal but  probably worth.

that assortment of metric socketry just doesn't exist around here. i would bet most of the big dealers around here don't have that extensive of an assortment.  things that are close in sae yes but metric i doubt.

Ditto to above. Fair price, but mostly just bushing drivers. Over 1-1/2" or so seems like metric is close enough to a sae size to work without issue. I know that's how I do it. Good/bad/other

The more I think about it, the more I want a set of 3/4 and 1" drive metrics just to have them...

A great price in my opinion. I would never have need for such a set and would not buy for myself, but given what they are the price is a great if you ask me.
You boys better hold on cause I'm gonna have to stand on it!

As a  purveyor of fine experienced toolery, I can tell you that is a very good price but also a tough sale.  I have a set of new Armstrong metric 3/4 drive impact sockets and haven't had a bite in over a year
