That's a nice set. He's a GI hard up for cash. Low ball and have him meet you half way.

Looks like a sweet set!  Not a bad deal even at the $500.  I'd be willing to deal on it!

Shoot, I’d be tempted to pay the asking price or close to it. That’s a nice set.  Now where’s the drool imoge?

Man that's a nice set! I don't think he's to far off in his asking price.

Stubby big wrenches? The longer the better.

Ask around - forum members have done purchases assistance before. Though shipping would be ugly, but the tool price is so good it might just wreak even.

I had the owner at GJ ask me to buy some local Blackhawk tool boards he had found on the web and ship them to him. $60 for the 3 boards, $60 shipping. A bit of a hassle, but it worked out.

The only real FACOM tool I've had is one of their fine tooth ratchets. Not bad, just not nice enough for me to keep.

bman,

Is your Facom ratchet for sale?  If so, PM me with your requirements....

How does the Facom ratchet compare to the SK-Facom design ratchets?
When my wife leaves me, my dog dies, and they repossess my home, I'll still have my tools.

Sorry sir, long gone.

The TUFF 1 innards are the same as FACOM's here. I believe it was FACOM'sdesign. And that's why SK no longer offers the TUFF 1 - once they separated from FACOM in 2005 they lost the licensing (plus FACOM got absorbed by Stanley Black and Dekker right after that. Could've had something to do with it).
