The better Craftsman Combos --

I really like the full polish wrenches - Danaher did a great job on the fit/finish and Sears prices these things were just right for the average guy. This is one toolset that Sears can't be faulted on.

Well I'm afraid I must mildly disagree because IMHO the earlier SK-sourced full polished ones are a half nose ahead of the Danahers in graceful lines and sexy chrome-ness, but one def can't go wrong with either!  Both are SWEET! indeed.

nice. Do you use them. ;)

I still wish I had jumped on the big wrenchs when they were marked down.

Sure -- they are the go-to set in my main box.

GF,

I'm a fan boy of the Crafty Pro combos too and have a couple of sets of the earlier S-k made versions.  I don't have any of the  later ones like yours.

Do you remember what year(s) you bought them?

What is the series code?

What's the 1st 3-digits of the model numbers?

And last, are you sure these are Danaher made?

I apologize for all the picky-ass questions, but I've been researching the Crafty Professional Era tools and have no examples of the later Pro Combo wrenches like yours.

Thanks for any of the above info you can provide...

When my wife leaves me, my dog dies, and they repossess my home, I'll still have my tools.
