What ever happened to the good old jimmy bar?  I bought one back in the 1960's just to save my screwdrivers.  It's been a really effective prybar, though pretty beat down.

I think the big screwdriver was used for pry work mainly because of the handle on it.  Us guys like our comfy handles.

These days, the best pry tools come with handles on them.  For once, the tool manufacturers got the message and gave us the tools we wanted/needed/lusted for.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

GF-- For the record, I do own a WF-made Crafty 41588 Screwdriver... it's a brute but near pristine even though I've owned since 1993.  Sadly it get's very little use, and only as a screwdriver.
