A free tool that gets thrown away

Bearing cups and bearing cones with the cages removed. These are handy for removing/installing seals and bushings. Also useful installing bearing cones and cups.

Second pic aren't free but also very handy, bushing installer/removers

I have used them on occasion to drive in a race but never kept them. Now I will - thanks for the tip!
People who confuse etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can’t put into words.

I measure each one I acquire on new jobs and as long as it is a .001 bigger or smaller than any I already have I keep it.

I scrap a dozen a month usually after they are used to drive the new ones in. 

I never thought to save any as regular tools.  Probably won't as we would just lose them in the piles of crap.

Easier to just scrap them all and save the time.   I got too much junk now.
