Craftsman gimmick wrench
« on: October 09, 2021, 03:48:26 PM »
I don't know how common this wrench is, but I will buy a gimmick type wrench when I get one for $1.00.  Has eight sizes and each size is listed for both SAE and a  metric size.  So, it is supposed to fit 16 sizes.  Probably made in taiwan.

Well that is a new one on me. How well do the wrench ends lock into position?

In the first picture, the sockets are locked into the ends by pulling from the center and they are quite solid and act like a real wrench.  In the second picture only one end will lock into that position.  Don't know why the other one will not????

Might be why it was disposed of. Maybe it's broken? Though it would have went home with me for a buck.  :D
