These socket set have oblong drive tools that fit oblong drive sockets. Even Alloy Artifacts does not show them and calls it a failed drive. I thought there was one oblong size, about 3/8 x 1/2", but recently bought some oblong Walden sockets and they came with two additional sizes. The top picture shows the sets with the recently bought sockets below. The second picture shows the three oblong drive sizes, the bottom sockets being the 3/8 x 1/2", the middle sockets being about 7/16 x 17/32" and the top sockets being about 1/2 x 19/32. The last picture shows the drive tool from the two sets, one being just an allen wrench with an oblong end and the other being a breaker bar which can be converted to a tee driver. I'm interested if anyone has drive tools in the two larger sizes, or input on the whole situation.

Wow that's a rare bird.

I have 5 or 6 of the sockets with the different drive sizes. I have no use for them coolmercury so if you want them they are yours.

Yes, I want them and appreciate your offer, let me know the postage and I will remit. Keeping everything together will some day help someone figure this out.

I'll get them out Tuesday when I go to town. Glad they will go to a good home.
