This Mopar Hellephant crate engine should get you down the road pretty well with 1,000HP.

Yup, love the engine and the intent, but it's days are numbered. Put a Tesla Model S P90D family sedan in "Ludicrous Plus" mode (yes that's an official mode), and it will pull 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, and will do the 1/4 mile in 10.5 seconds ---- all that from a FAMILY SEDAN!

yeah but the Tessy wont have that sound. Is horsepower without the noise really horsepower?

Dittos, and no it is not ..... Not thinking tessy will have a future.  The side packer on the finder, Dodge 1000HP tessy 100 amps :D
