Title: Shootin hoops
Post by: strik9 on February 16, 2020, 10:39:49 AM
My son asked for a hoop for his new basketball.

This is pretty close.  Scrap wood backboard and a rebar hoop look good to him.

The kids were testing it, it works.

Looks great! How long did it take to make?

Well done and extra points for a happy kid.

The metal bit maybe an hour, the wood bit several days of glue drying.  Another hour or two to assemble and install.

All in all not much time over a week of puttering with it.

The smiles as Manny and Bri tried to make it work were perfect.
