Happy gobble gobble day.

Just back from a 7 mile hike, where the missus and I were able to catch the sunrise just out of town in the National Forest (desert). Lots of trail runners out there, and MTB riders, no horses but lots of hoofprints. No wildlife spotted.

happy thanksgiving all.

crazy week here. did last of the tillage, pulled the hitch pins, washed the big chunks of mud off and backed the big tractors under roof.  mrs sk and i drove to fargo today and gave blood since we had no other plans. had lunch at a chinese bufet(no hf near it) and had a lazy afternoon. will make some food  this evening for her family gathering tomorrow.

Always good to go out, make friends and meet people. Holidays are especially rough on folks who live alone or are loners.

We stayed home, forgot to get a ham, so we made beef stew, hominy, and corn bread.  Not many relatives around, generation older than me are gone now.  Cold and windy, when the sun came out cleaned nails out of used lumber that I acquired.
