Given the ammo crisis -- this is THE way to make a good living. :)) :)) :))
It takes 4 quarters on the left dispenser and one quarter on the right dispenser. I'm thinking of putting them on street corners and grocery stores in BLM and ANTIFA dominated cities

it'll sell out quick. You need a credit card reader. A dollar wont buy much anymore. The last 556 i saw for sale was $.60/round. :-\
Correction:: its now at $.62 per

I was going to say I wish we could get it that cheap here but Gun City (our biggest firearms retailer) is selling it at NZ$1.10 (US$0.79) ea if bought in boxes of a 1000. Not bad considering they have travelled 8,300 miles from the Federal factory and have 5% duty and 15% sales tax added. https://www.guncity.com/223-american-eagle-55gr-fmj-boat-tail-251355 (https://www.guncity.com/223-american-eagle-55gr-fmj-boat-tail-251355)

And I used to pay $.10 to $.15 per back in the early 80's and up to $.20 per later in the 80's.

Heck, even two years ago, I found plenty of .223 Rem 55gr. FMJ brass for $0.18/rd. Better yet, at one point, right after Pres. Trump was elected, I found 115gr FMJ Serbian brass for $0.09/rd -- that stuff was cheaper than steel cased at the time, and it sold quickly. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish i would have bought 10K rounds at that price -- LOL

Haven't seen it that cheap for years here on the west coast.
-
I paid $0.26 around the first of the year. Shoulda bought 2 cases

The 1000 rounds of boxed 223 Remington plus other stuff I bought at auction for $2.00 recently had prices on the 20 round boxes of $5.85 per box. When do you think it was purchased?

You never did answer what type of bullets it's loaded with. If it's FMJ it might only be a couple years old if it was purchased from somewhere that priced ammo to sell. And don't let the price stickers fool you into thinking they're older. A couple of the gun stores around here still use them.
Also decent pictures of one of the boxes might help to narrow down a date.

Great idea, Ray!
I had a friend who reloaded ammo, did special runs for guys with specific requirements. I think he did OK money-wise on that. I figured most re-loaders would be supplementing their incomes now the same way. Didn't stop to think the supplies would affect that. :-[

Gotta be careful selling reloads. Seems the BATF has a FFL requirement on selling ammo.

Absolutely -- selling reloads could get to be a real nightmare when the Feds get involved. Definitely not worth the regulatory headaches, nor the possible liability issues.

I think one of the claw machines would be a better investment :))
