I got this on a trade--------------for  something I Didn't Need-----at all.

I'll take the orange one to my sons barn-----it's good for wire wheelin' and just touchin' up carbides (that's a "green" wheel).

Most likely get it swapped out tomorrow.

Definitely seems like you needed a new one.
My 1958 Craftsman block grinder has only one tool rest, and the hub ? That surrounds the wheel on one side busted one me one day when my shoddy diy stand fell over.
Oh well, it's 60+ years old and still going strong. It's rusty as hell but still works great.

I'll tell ya what Harlan this baby in my opinion, is a-----a true 1 Hp. I mean she's up to speed like right now. And if you try to stall it, then you're just TRYING to stall it. I did some pretty heavy grinding on a 3/8" plate------and it was saying---"That's all ya got" 

I would say it's on par with the 3/4hp 6" Crafty right behind it. 


Did I ever show you guys my mobile grinder Island?
The grinders go where the work is.
And that's the top of an old mig welder (I scrapped), hanging on the side. I throw that on top of the saw horses------perfect portable table.
