Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I don't often see any of the Pileated around my house but do hear their distinctive "thunk" as they peck on the dead trees in the neighborhood.  The Red Bellied, Downy, Hairy and Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers keep me entertained.

Now I'm watching the Bluebirds raise their three little ones in the house by the garden.

This past week one or more Pileated Woodpeckers have been dinning at the feeder. What a wonderful lovely bird..

2 things here, dont try beiting a raial tire, to get it on the bead, just wont work, especially with steel belted tires.  No. 2, most modern starting fluid is tame, may catch the tire aflame, but wont seat the bead, read the can ingredients.  Good luck.

We seem to be averaging 2"+ of rain a week since early March. I can barely mow grass let alone think about working dirt. I did manage to get potatoes planted in the garden.

Reminds of the gas station I worked at in college.  Mounting the tires was easy.  Getting them to inflate was often a chore.  Tire changer did not have an inflation ring
