Went to pawnshop and found a holster worn sig sauer mosquito in pink which i plan on refinishing.  Also found a lovely model 60 marlin gold trigger out the door for both was cheaper than if i had bought a new gun. Didnt have all the money on me so there on layaway till my next paycheck next week tho i have 60 days to pay.

The SIG Mosquito was manufactured for SIG by a company called German Sport Guns (GSG). Sig had a lot of problems with that pistol -- mostly having to do with feeding issues. They finally gave up on it back in the mid 2010's. The pistol is still manufactured and is currently being sold by GSG as the Firefly. All parts interchange between the Firefly and the Mosquito. Hence if you need parts, don't go to Sig but rather go to GSG.

This pistol was not a success and it needs a LOT of work to make it reliable. Best advice I have is to run only CCI Mini-Mags through it and to clean it after every 150-200 rounds. If not it turns into a brick.

Good luck! --

Nice Model 60! I’ve had mine since the 1970s, and it’s taken lots of squirrels and rabbits over the decades -
Along with a few rabid coons.

No particular oiling tips Dustin. I've always kept a good supply of Rem Oil in the shop, and that's what all the firearms received. It does wonders for wood and metal, and keeps the stocks in prime condition.
