It also sounds like don't leave a can in a vehicle as it may explode if it gets above 122 degrees F.

Well, I think I'll explode in a car at 122degrees! :lol_hitting:

I almost passed on it, but recall a recipe in the Henley's Reference about a penetrating lubricant that used rapeseed (i.e canola) oil in it. Since I'm into home brews I remembered that product, and decided what the heck. I'll give it a whirl!

You could try homebrewing some. Sounds like it's just a canola and castor oil blend.

Sprayed some on the pivot points of the garage door. Been awhile since I lubed those and I should do it monthly.

Initial foam action is something to get used to, but it does appear to make oil runs less likely.

Finally used the Jack spray on a frozen water pump for a portable carpet deep cleaner. Let it soak an hour, and gave it a try. Pump sputtered a second then started pumping water! Nice - as the part was NLA from Bissel and I really want to use that machine.

I give it a  :great:

Two more uses of the Jack spray today.

The wife said the dryer door was squealing - loudly. And her fold-away ironing board made a "nails on a chalkboard" screech when closing. A quick spurt or two of Jack spray killed both noises.

I'm beginning to really like this stuff!   :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

I thought I posted in this thread before but wanted to thank Bonneyman about Jack of All Sprays.

This stuff is great almost no odor and the foam only goes where you want it.
Cured a squeaky door hinge on my truck.
