Thanks Steve, I'm surprised the cardboard box is still intact.

That's pretty amazing for a box about 70 years old. I hope I look that good at 70.

Just not as yellow.

Proto long combo wrenches. The 9/32" isn't part of the set but it is the same length as the 1/4" so I keep it with the set.

That’s one sweet set, Snaparxon. I have an early Proto-Plomb version of long combos.

Cruiser808, you have some nice Proto and Plomb stuff. Did you find most of it on the island?

Hi Snaparxon - about half and half. Pearl Harbor shipyard workers used a lot of Proto tools that have ended up in swap meets or garage sales. The rest I got from eBay or friends. And, it’s taken decades to acquire this stuff. I was introduced to Proto tools in 1984 and have been a fanboy ever since. They’re not as well chromed and as nice as Snap-on, but much more affordable and convenient to get. This is important when you live in a high cost of living, high taxed, liberal hippie State like Hawaii. But, bottom line, Proto tools are tough as nails.

That must have been pretty hard to find.

More of a collection than a set
