Well, CNN+ didn't even last a month before being cancelled because even frothing-at-the-mouth liberals aren't interested.  It's pretty sad how far CNN has fallen but they only have themselves to blame.  IMO this is karma for all the lies and fake news they've promoted about Trump and the Republicans the last several years.  I'm enjoying watching the mainstream media become less relevant as their lies are exposed.

Disney is cratering as well. Last March is was at $200, today is was around $120. I’m betting that shareholders are chomping at the bit to get rid of that woke CEO and other leadership. Also, today Gov. DeSantis stripped Disney of it’s special self governing and taxation status within the state of Fla.

I feel the same way.  Just about every child star that's come through Disney is completely screwed up as an adult.  Brittany Spears, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, etc.

Gotta agree with Ray, Disney is not only pro gay, but in your face pro gay.  Don't care what your orientation is, that is one's own business, be proud, but don't need to be loud, especially to children who don't know what sex is except maybe for procreation, and certainly don't know or understand sexuality in an adult context. 

Don't know if DeSantis's program is thought out, and the unintended consequences will be many, and it may be a poor decision, tone will tell.

Gov desantis didn't just fall off the turnip truck. From what I've seen of him he is highly intelligent and pretty quick on his feet with the media attacks on him.

As above, no one wants to see others loose their employment, but when the mgmt gets woke, the company can get broke. CocaCola, Hershey's, Netflix and Disney are all on my don't feed the cause list. I hope the workers make it through the down turn, because I doubt it is any where near the bottom.

Those days may be gone, but by all accounts the majority of Disney theme park and cruise line guests do business with the company precisely because Disney actively promoted those old fashioned "family values" for decades. I don't know when the company went off the rails in that belief, but it's certainly a more recent trend. I remember brochures from Disney World and the Disney Cruise Line (when our daughter was little we spent a lot of time at Disney resorts and on cruises) that were used by the company in the early 2000's, and the "traditional family values" theme was highly emphasized in their marketing campaigns.
