Garage Finds

A close neighbor of mine is cleaning out her garage after the death of her husband a while ago.  He not only had purchased items but had cleaned out many things from his father's estate.

While many items are run-of-the-mill and sometimes not worth taking home there were some gems and what is this tools.  This was just from a couple of wooden boxes on the floor and there is still two Craftsman toolboxes to go through when she is ready.

What appears to be an ignition tool has BOSCH stamped on it.

Possibly more to follow.

Love finding little treasures like that. Good luck Nick!

I had a similar experience with my late FILs well worn Craftsman mechanic's boxes. He was a professional mechanic his entire life, and there were some very nice vintage surprises in those old boxes.

Great finds. I believe the ignition tool is for a Bosch magneto.

I think you are correct.  A search for Bosch ignition tools brought up a picture that was identified as a magneto tool.

Any idea of a specific application?

Probably came as part of a Bosch magneto rebuild kit.

Nice, no neighbors around here like this.  Going to gift a nephew some of his grandfathers tools now that he old enough to appreciate them.
