Spraying on undercoat
« on: February 17, 2019, 02:27:51 PM »
What’s the best way to spray on the undercoat of a car? I saw the Wagner MotoCoat system and it looks pretty good but it’s nearly $200. I’m thinking for as little as I would need something like that, it might be better if I just paid someone to do it for me. Now if paying someone is going to cost me $500, I want to consider doing it myself. What are your thoughts?

Do it your self that way you`ll know it`s a good job.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

I’ve never done it before. I assume it’s just like spraying paint. But what method is best?

Mikevango  sprayed a lanolin based product on one of his rides. it was a gallon can and had a type of siphon gun with it. I seem to recall it wasn't very expensive either. The thread may have gotten lost in the old site.

Gang,

Speaking of Mikevango... where is he?  Did we loose him?

He hasn't been around in a long while. October 28, 2018, 07:53:36 AM was the last time and he has only a single post here. Be nice to see him back.

I miss his projects.  He had a lot of ingenuity.
