Got an hour of overtime at work.
Did some Halloween related stuff .
Spent a good half hour searching around town for the 7 bills that got left on the back of the truck when I went to mail them off  :-[
Found 4 of the 7 at least, 2 checks were cancelled but I can't cancel the $25 in cash I was sending to a forum member for a small lot of tools they had listed.

And after that I was able to get the sheath knocked out for my Buck 102 woodsman, this time with a plastic liner sewn in so it can't be cut through.

It's kind of huge relative to the knife because that's how it has to be with the blade angle if you want a good friction fit type sheath.
Always lookin' to learn

Something different this weekend, some offroad racing UTVs running at Rally Waitomo. I'm clerk of the course for the UTVs, sitting in rally control. I scrutineered the six guys running yesterday.

Fairly techo, every car has a RallySafe unit that tracks them. It has a SOS button, it also calls for help if it has a high G impact. Rally control tracks them live.

Skoda Fabia R5

Audi A1 R5

Mitsibushi Evo 7

Audi Quattro

Yamaha YXZ

Planned photo didn't work out as there was too much cloud and didn't get any sunset colour.

Been living in a hotel for the past week while our hardwood floors were being redone.  We live in a rancher and while we have a finished basement, there is no bathroom on that level so the hotel was the best choice.  Moving back in today at some point.  Was supposed to move back on Saturday but there were some flaws on the floor so they buffed it and recoated it on Saturday.  What a royal pain to empty your house then move everything back in.

The floors look good and we had hardwood put in the kitchen also.

We are hosting thanksgiving for 30 so we have to keep moving to get everything done.

Yes it is tight but with the finished basement, gives more room to spread out.  But even prior to our taking on the event, in my Mom's house and my Aunt's house, we were spread out over a few rooms.

That's how it goes in our house split up between the kitchen and living room.

Did you have to move the furniture out by yourself or did you have plenty of help?

The wife and I redid the wood flooring in one of our rentals. never again. i'll gladly pay for that to be done next time. But they sure are pretty when done.

Walrus, how'd that colonoscopy GO for ya? :D :D
