Will do, Steve. You’re the boss.

Yeah, he has a plaque on his desk that says,"Here's the Boss"......with an arrow that points toward his wife.   ;D

I see you've been here. She never lets me forget it either.

Hi CRTDI - I too have that Easco set. But I have the 1104 instead of the 1103 in your set. Frankly, I’d prefer the 1103, but I take what I can get. I also have a rather unconventional Easco 1/4 set with a ratcheting screwdriver.

Nice set! Seems odd to me that the supposedly newer ratchet design would go backwards with the model number designation. Really digging the ratcheting screwdriver, never seen this before.

A little Easco set I have, don't remember if I posted already or not.

Wow!..some more vintage Easco. Those little round head ratchets are nice. I believe Easco was the supplier of this style ratchet for Craftsman.

That set is a beauty.

I am pleasantly surprised at how many of these Plomb sets turn up.

Outstanding CRTDI. Yours is a 1940 Plomb set in mint condition. I really love these early Plomb sets, the first being 1935. I believe your 1940 ratchet was the first gear change over from the the removable gear drive versions. I’ll post one tomorrow.

Yours is a beauty too, Steve. What year is it? The sockets and ratchet should have a date code on them.

I will have to check. They are stored away neatly and I have to get them out.

I love how well divided and organized that PLOMB set is, I'm one of the most messy people you'll ever meet except where my tools are concerned and I really appreciate a well organized ratchet set.
I have no problem leaving the workbench covered in junk until I get tired of the clutter and dump everything into a 5 gal bucket, but I don't like digging in a box or drawer for a tool.
Always lookin' to learn

I’m curious about how you dated that set at 1940? Although the tools are early (I thought I saw some ‘41 date codes), I would have guessed at the red box being postwar.
