Picked it up at the swap yesterday

A complete, down to the tommy bar, circle H Craftsman set. Still has the golden color from the linseed oil that it was packaged with. The only dirt is the old shelf wear on the outside of the case.

Nice find...that's a super nice set.  My OCD wants to clean it, but promises to keep the linseed on the tools... ;D

Mustang set.  Pretty sure this is New Britain sourced. The lid/cover is a PIA novelty as I always manage to spill the contents out whenever I move his set around... ::)

The box definitely looks less than ideal , but it seems like a nice set overall.

I agree, pretty goofy match box style cover. It magically slides open and dumps the contents at seemingly inconvenient times... :(

A small Cornwell socket box with some deep well sockets. My guess is that this dates from the late 50s.

P&C set.

P&C tools are pretty much non-existent in my area, so this one took a loooong time to piece together... :-[

That Mac set is nice. I bet it was $pendy when new.

The Cornwall deeps a few post back seem really beefy for a 1//4 drive set. bet they didn't have tp warranty any of those. ;D

You're probably right, the sockets are quite chunky for being 1/4" drive.

Some NB goodness.

Here's something a little different. A couple of German manufactured Belzer sets. I believe these are from the late '50s.

Here's a late 30s Blackhawk 10ND 1/4" drive set with some early 40s add on pieces.
