The .300 is threaded. The 22/250 has the big barrel, it would be nice to have a silencer for that.

Bought an old henry round barrel .22 lever at the pawn shop today for $200 including scope. Pretty sure it was never cleaned. Had a bunch of small rust spots and scratches. Steel wooled all of the rust away and am in the process of refinishing the rifle. Paint for receiver is brownells alumahyde

Pretty cool work. I like these types of refurbishing posts. I have a few firearms with worn finishes. They are not collectible, hence they would benefit from a good cleanup and refinish.
