Yes. She is in good spirits. We are going on vacation friday than on the 29th she is having surgery.

Safe travels and enjoy!!! Head up the road a few miles to the city of Bamberg -- they call it the Venice of Bavaria. Lots of canals, castles, museums, cathedrals and beer. Bamberg is world famous for its specialty "Rauchbier" -- smoked beer. Actually they smoke the barley before mashing. It has a hint of smoke in it -- and is the perfect compliment to a bratwurst or grilled pork shank.

Yup -- that's it! "hit or miss". A local friend once told me that the first smoke bier usually tastes a bit "off" , but after the third round, you can't get enough of it. He was absolutely correct.
