Starting november 1st i am taking an executive job at one of the largest automotive companies in the world with an annual revenue of 10 billion usd. My job will be manager of press technology for North America.  I will be home now (we are moving to Detroit) and will be able to post more. I will still be hands on for the 13 plants i an responsible for as my job will still be 40% travel.

Congrats on the new gig.  But Detroit!!!

Manager is a big jump. I made that move @15 yrs ago. Different set of challenges to overcome... Sometimes I wish I was back on the tools.

Manager of almost 11,000 people. Corporate position. I am moving up from head technician. Detroit is ok if you hold your nose
