I dunno that yellow is starting to grow on me.
Is the need enough? Or does the want suffice?

Mellow Yellow tool room lathe, has a special ring to it. Nice score.

?step up transformer so I have 440 and 220 3 phase?

This a service for the shop or each machine has its own?

What it boils down to is I have 440 and  220 3 phase outlets to suit each machines needs.
Although I may have to upgrade the 10 hp to a bigger unit of I want to run Chomper.
Hard to justify that expense though.

A nice diagram to help you figure out the size of your spindle lock nut to fine the correct spanner wrench.

Ok, it is like a mini sub station ........... slick. I take it you ain't moving.  ;D

As to the chomper doubt you will have work for that one. good yard art piece tho & safe to say no one will run off with it in the middle of the night.

Went back today and picked up the original book.
Has the color advertising brochure, factory engineering drawings and user guide.
Also got another Rivett book for an armature lathe in the original cover.
So I`ll be switching contents to have the original cover with my paperwork.

Always cool to get the books.

I agree with Pepi, move ol chompy outside and find you a nice 2 or 3 cylinder Detroit to power him with. ;D

Well Chompski is not in the way he`s sitting in a dead space lookin fine. Not doing anything to him now just waiting for the pulley to be welded.

The old sales flyers are so fun to look at. It's amazing the engineering that went into these ultra precision machines. Glad you got that stuff to go with the lathe.

The 3 jaw is done, interesting workings. It`s an old steel Union 3 jaw , really nicely made.

No I was too impatient so scotch brite pads with oil and tons of elbow grease then Navy gel on the tough spots.
And yes I tore it all apart. It's now spotless through and through.
