A rotator Schum vise. Predecessor to Milhoff. I think it would be a badass welding vise.

I know. A touch light for my taste. I'm supposed to be not buying any vises between 2.1" and 6.1" jaw size as well

Made from welded steel plate. 50 lbs is "light" but I bet this would take a hell of a lot more abuse than a cast vise.

Mine is smaller but similar construction.  Quite solid and useful in small home stuff.

I would use the bigger one without fear.

Yah something about hoarding...


...although I did give a 6" vise away to a friend of mine about a month ago, so maybe I need to get a replacement so the other don't get lonely.
