DAILY DRIVERS/GROCERY GETTERS / Re: New to me Pickup

Having been a Dodge tech I like the looks of that a lot.  The miles are actually low.  I am working on a 97 Chevy 2500 extended cab long box, 145,000 miles, and zero rust.  For myself for summer use only, plan on having it a long time.  Price was in my category more so than a Dodge, in this area..

My BIL , most redneck looking guy I ever saw rocked a massive fro in the 70's.  So funny now. The Fatman with a ponytail,  now that's some kinda funny there!  :))

Trying to imagine the Fatman smokin a big Bob Marley joint and sportin long hair or a fro. That paints quite the mental image!  :smiley_confused1:

Haha UB, the Fatman's hair is as straight as an arrow and very fine. I doubt even with a perm a fro is possible.

As an aside, I see fro's are coming back into fashion and it reminds me of my youth.  Also bell bottoms.  Good memories

With all the reporting laws for workers, I am surprised that a big corp can get away with mass illegals workers.  Sure some will slip through the cracks but I would think the fines would kill them if enforced.

Just your typical brilliant Aussi :cool2:

Yeah, Aussi's and their "sheds" are a pretty unique tradition. Some great work gets done "down under" in those small shops.

My apologies to Nick and Clay, I mixed up their names when I originally posted.

Sorry guys -- just got confused this morning; didn't have enough coffee in the system to jump start the old brain.

And here I was thinking "cool, another Clay here..."  :-D

The wood to have around my area is Arbutus, an evergreen deciduous hardwood.  Hard to get though as the species is protected, so when some's available it costs considerably more than regular wood.
