The auto braking system is a great idea. However it worries me that it will lead people to think they don't have to pay attention to the road in front of them.

I think many already don't pay attention.

You mean like the people who think the autopilot on a Tesla will handle everything?

Well I really had more in mind the texting talking on the phone crowd but yes, the autopilot Tesla crowd earn a spot as a big subset.

Amazing how far NASCAR strayed from its initial intent. Daily driver cars racing each other on the weekend - what a concept! People wonder why NASCAR is losing audience -- watch this clip and find the answer.

Back when the drivers had names like Iron Mike, Fireball Roberts and a driver put out an engine fire with his shirt!

Glen Wood just died at the age of 93. They showed a picture of him in his convertible race car that just had a rollbar behind him. Those were the days for sure.

Buck Baker and Junior Johnson in their prime -- what a sight! In those days an average guy with a car, tools, and some spare parts could afford to go racing on the weekends.

Glen Wood (Wood Brothers Racing) -- Those guys were awesome back in the 60s, 70s and 80s. For all their fame, they had a modest shop down in Patrick County VA.

I'd like to know the job description of the crewman who manned this station.

I suspect on a WWI sub you were expected to know about a lot of things.

I guess you could call that mess the wheels of fortune.
