4. Hieslier with the cylinders inclined to directly drive the main drive shaft
5. Shay with offset boiler and vertical cylinders
6. Logging bridge. If you search Kinsey logging photos you will find lots of period photos taken by the Kinsey brothers
Yep the Shay is my favorite locomotive just such a unique of a design.

That truck bed camper looks awesome. I remember the ads in Field & Stream for very exotic truck bed setups at the time.

My uncle had a camper on the back of his 69 Chevy. They would go up north for hunting season.

Fuel capacity on the B-36 Peacemaker was 30,600 gallons of 145 octane gasoline.

I was in the pattern one time when a B-36 was on final and the pilot announced xxxxxx on final, 6 churning and 4 burning.  If you remember, they tried to increase the airspeed of them by adding 4 J47 jet engines, the same engines that were on the B-47.  And, that created mess, as now the same aircraft needed Aviation gas and jet fuel.

Quite an experience CM, and what a time that must have been to be an USAF strategic bomber crew member. CONVAIR did their job on that bomber. IIRC it was the only bomber capable of flying almost 1i,000 miles with a full payload and without refueling. That was an extraordinary engineering achievement at the time.

I would of hated to have to change all 336 spark plugs on those six 28 cylinder engines. The biggest problem with the J-47 turbo jet engines was since they ran on the avgas, they consumed a lot of fuel in use and significantly reduced the range.
