I grew up around a Texaco station just like the one in the picture. Everything was painted red, white or green. Except the wall in the office that had the old guys poker debts on it. I dont think anyone ever paid off on those debts, but "write it on the wall" was the common phrase for the day... Good times for a preteen kid. Wish I still had some of the swag they gave me over the years.
