The Kenner Buick wrecker looks to be a WWII Army 10 ton, maybe a Mack.  Obviously a little beefy for just towing Buicks.

Wow, the Spruce Goose  on the move!   The Pontiac assembly line was so clean, and  the guided tour,  no one wearing safety glasses!   When the lawyers and liability rules shut down factory tours we lost a lot of knowledge.  Best part of my schooling were the plant tours, saw shock absorbers, valves, potato chips, bread, even Hostess Twinkies being made, just not on the same day.

And they are still on the road. B-52H 61-0009 is on the move from Pima Air and Space Museum, Tucson (AZ), on Jan. 4, 2022. The bomber began her next journey to Oklahoma where she will become the test bed for research and modernization for the B-52 fleet.  The left wing and fuselage will eventually be relocated to a Boeing facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where it will serve as an integration model.

LOL - that AMOCO pic brings back some memories because when I was a kid many local gas stations had one or two outside lifts. I could never find out exactly what the reasoning behind that business model was. Whether it had to do with expansion issues, property taxes (i.e., smaller building less taxes), etc., but there were quite a lot of them in my area. I do know that one local station put in a heavy service lift to accommodate larger vehicles and mid-sized trucks.

I gassed up at an Amaco in Rochester NY with an outside lift, back in the 70's. I've never seen another, until now.

True, they are rare these days. Looking at the pic it seems that Phil's AMOCO doesn't have an enclosed service facility and he opted to put the lift outside. Maybe that was the convention back then when smaller gasoline filling stations added mechanical services to their business model.
