I just ordered a nice condition vintage silco 31pc flatwear set off Ebay, and yes I consider these a form of tool.

Call me crazy, but I have a favorite spoon.
I wanted a fork to do with it but couldn't find a match, changed my search words and came across a complete set that matches it.
I didn't really need an entire set, but I'll be happy to ditch the rest of my import junk in favor of some American made Silco goodness.

This old one's getting a bit rough ( yes it's a serving spoon, a bit bigger than a tablespoon) so it may get relegated to a drill.

I always liked the Spork. Having a fork, spoon, and knife all in one utensil appealed to the survivalist in me.  :)

I never took to the spork because I need one to hold the food with and the other to cut it with.
The standard no knife edge plastic spork always worked well in the school cafeteria though.

Very nice Tim. Does the flex head have a lock?
Yes it does. That was one of the reasons for trading. The Snap-On has a very clumsy locking system.

Davethorik I like the Irwin pliers #1902420 except for the lanyard eyelets. Guess I will be removing the eyelet from the finger side because this is where your little finger goes.
Red arrow points to the offending eyelet.

Snappy got me on one of these... Magnet is good and strong and it's nice and bright. Its run time is a bit disappointing at 3 hrs and 4 hrs to charge full.

Ron, I could not agree more. My other Irwin/NWS pliers are larger and the lanyard thingy doesnt rub your finger (the linesmans and the ergo-multi). I plan to take a straight razor and cheese grater it off.

I have only used mine twice so far, once to remove about 20 heavy duty staples out of a few documents. Flawless. The other was to cut a bunch of small pieces of plastic in the cutters, which it did very well. The cutters meet dead even, when held up against a light there are no gaps, simply holding the tool at rest. That is impressive.

Went to HF today. Took advantage of some coupons. (Does anyone seriously buy something without one?)

I've been misusing my chrome sockets at home. so i picked up this 37 peice set. My 1/2 impacts at work are HF and haven't broken a single one in 10 yrs. These will do just fine for home use.

This year I am going to make six pack carriers for the husband's in our group of friends for Christmas presents. So I thought itd be handy to have a finish nailer. I picked up their infamous 2 n 1 18ga nailer/stapler. For what I paid I'm not expecting much, however reviews for this nailer/stapler are very good.

picked up this Milwaukee set on Monday.
Gave the sawzall blades to a coworker, added my Morse holesaws and drills to the kit and it's perfect!

I just got this little moody set in.

Definitely nicer than the Craftsman version I have, though it's plastic holder is much more convenient than this vinyl pouch that's kind of fiddly to deal with.

MOODY doesn't offer this cool little 22pc set anymore,  so I had to buy this NOS set off Ebay, and it'll probably be a while before I get it I'm sure.
