Am I missing something on the Channellock, or does it have to do with racing?  ........

The company was a BIG sponsor of various racing teams, and in many different racing classes. From dirt track cars to NACAR, Channellock sponsorship was pretty much everywhere. They regularly featured their racing affiliations on their product lines; especially around Christmas where the "value packs" were quite popular. In my day I received a few of those "racing" branded packs from friends and family.

Yes , Elroy is correct in his assumption, Challenger is a halfer  , Sidchrome is 3/8 “ , quite rare even here in NZ , plenty of 1/2 “ to be had in that style .

No, but it is 3d printed. What is probably confusing you poor backward Americans is that it is marked in millimetres

It is used for measuring the depth of ruts in the road under a straight edge so you don't have to get on your hands and knees to read a ruler.

Well that is clever.

And I am all about not kneeling, but if I do, there is a knelling pad involved

Interesting.

You're probably right about the metric measurements confusing us, were so used to our SAE standard that landed us on the moon .

Big 10-4! Kneeling pads ( or stadium pads) are my friends these days. Can't garden without one!

And that Sidchrome frankenstein ratchet looks nice. Probably not the smoothest action but simple and tough as nails. :great:

Just received this NOS vintage Easco tool set in the mail.

Some of the sockets are pretty rough and the 2 screwdrivers are bottom of the barrel junk, but with the ratchet,  hacksaw, and pretty nice hex key set I got quite a bit of useful good for the $32 shipped it cost me.
The hacksaw is a bit chintzy feeling but I kind of like, it seems like a decent little 10" hacksaw.

If this set had been in some kind of carry case or something I'd be tempted to just collect it, but since it didn't I'm just looking at it for it's value in tools.

Recieved a 5 pack of cheap 1/4-4mm adapter bits.

1 of them I cut down to be a better fit in the titan roto head bit ratchet.
