An organized Work Space
« on: September 09, 2019, 04:41:02 PM »
Okay, not something I will attest to having.  Pics are from an upcoming auction for a man's estate.  He worked as an electrician for Western Electric for 27 years.  His tool chests and power equipment were as meticulous.

That is one OCD dude.  Tools are likely well cared for, sets will be complete, and all look clean.  I go to a lot of sales and have seen the gamut of mega junky shops to well kept ones.  That beats them all.

I don't know Phil, I think you could do the same with your shop.

Though, it would take ALOT of pegboard!  :))

:)) Thanks guys, BUT I'm nowhere near that organized, but I do have a lot of pegboard -- always been a fan of that stuff.

I would love to hang stuff from the overhead but I'm not tall enough to reach the 16' ceiling.

Well you know this guy must've had a lot of tools he never used, there's no way he could keep everything this organized if he actually used the tools that are hanging behind other ones  :))

Once you start grabbing those tools everything is gonna go to hell in no time at all.

organized? what's that? this is an average middle of the day at work. Always cleaned before the end of the day :)

Note the "ledge of shame" locks that have been drilled, miscut keys, etc.
