A set of CPS A/C gauges that needs parts and love (have both). Saw USA made and took it.
An Indestro double ratcheting wrench where one side spins fee, and a Diamond 8" wide opening adjustable that has seen better days. The spiral knob pin is not a screw in type. so I'm soaking it in JAFE juice to see if it break free and come out. Since it's in rough shape I may play around with plastic/rubber and make my own ergonomic cover for the handle. Gotta clean up the jaws flats as well.
And a Husky Universal Square that's in remarkable shape. Total spent: $10

Nice score you got there. I am intrigued by the Husky gauge not seen anything like that but then I don't do much work in wood.

Will you be repairing the Indestro wrench?

Definitely! Ground down the rivets so I could get it apart and see what's wrong. Very similar mechanism to the Dunlap's I have. Got it wire brushed and cleaned up - hex gears look great. Gotta get some stainless Chicago bolts from the store tomorrow and put it back together.

The square isn't something I'd use everyday, but knew I could get it cheap in the lot. This store treats me very well. then found it on-line when I got home - retails for $10. Not bad.
My niece is looking for a chest of drawers to replace the one's she's got that's falling apart. I told my SIL I'd keep an eye out during my estate sale travels for an older, solid wood one that I could restore and give to my niece as a gift. A square would probably come in handy doing that restoration work.

Nice of you to restore CoD. Actually sounds like a fun project.

Squares and levels are always handy. You can't check too many times.

Camera crapped out so will be a little while before I can up load pics of said repair. But I will document it. The manifold set is all cleaned up and fixed. Even used lauvers plastic treatment to clean up the lenses to an acceptable level.

Yeah, the niece likes old, solid furniture, and - though I'm not great with wood - been watching some videos (Ross Taylor Woodworks) and I've caught the bug. So I figured I could fill a need and have some fun, too.

I'm not big on wood work but I would like to try my hand at something like that. In my mind your niece is 100% correct the older stuff is made so much better than the contemporary stuff.

Nice score.  All usable items

I bought some interesting Czechoslovakian made sockets at a local pawn shop last week.  They are 1/2" drive 6-pt metrics.  Look to be preWWII. Got them cheap because they were crusty,  well worn, and nobody else wanted them.

OK, camera is back up. Here's the internals of the Indestro double ratcheting box wrench. Note to self: next time, pay better attention to how the springs are installed. Took a little testing to get it oriented right.
I put it together temporarily to test function - everything works fine. Now I have to figure out how to get it together lined up and with minimal protrusion of the bolts. Have 3 sets of fasteners to try - we'll see which set works best.

I think I like the DUNLAP version better overall. Though the Indestro is probably stronger in the head area as the steel totally encloses the gear, the DUNLAP  has beefier pawls, a single spring, and the open edges allow for easier cleaning of the gear. Plus, you can flip the pawl if the tip gets worn - doubles the life of the pawl! Nice feature.

Here's the completed Indestro wrench. Chicago bolts looked about the best, and kept the outer profile as narrow as was possible. Tool works great!
