The ratchet to me is the star of that set and I really like the set.

I quite like the ratchet as well, seems like a solid built piece. Matco/Wright produced a matching style breaker bar handle that I haven’t been able to find... :-[

I've never seen the BB but I have the ratchet branded Wright. I like it a great deal.

Brazil was made by SK as a companion line.

Didn't know that either - do you know if SK branded a ratchet for Brazil too?

I seem to recall seeing a Brazil branded set with ratchet on the old site but I'm not positive.

This particular Herbrand set was a bit of a mystery to me. I figured this was just a hodgepodge of 1/4" pieces, carburetor tools and a big wrench... :(
After a little research though, I was surprised to find that this is actually Herbrand’s version of a carburetor tool set.

Many thanks for all of the nice comments. I do like to share these sets with like minded people that can appreciate them for what they are.

It’s also very nice to see what others have to share, wether it’s a collector set or a true working set makes no difference. The evolution of these socket sets with all the different manufacturers is quite interesting to me.

My apologies to everybody here for my “over-posting” on this thread. After the great Photo Bucket debacle, the disappearance of original GG site and a recent personal computer crash, I’ve been trying to recover what I can and repost here.

You are not overposting - very far from it. It is great to see what is out there and to see some traffic here and I for one am appreciative for others sharing their pix. The crash of the site left a big void and it's good to see stuff being brought back.

So keep on posting!

Looks like a nice set, I'm not I to bulky blow mould cases but overall it's a nice set.
