Thanks for the nice comments!

I like the crisp rectangular cases for how they fit in a tool box, but those New Britain boxes with the rounded corners sure would slip in a pocket much better.

hick, I believe this same style box was used for most of the manufacturers that sourced New Britain 1/4” drive sets at some point. I like the rounded edge design as well, but I can tell you that they’re not very good for stacking on top of one another, especially after they’ve been cleaned up.

I'll bet they're not, but they do look nice.

Cruiser that is magnificent. Looks like it was just bought new.

Whats the wood panel with the Proto logo?

Hi Steve, thanks for the kind words. Those are Proto display boards from the early 1950’s Proto LOs Angeles era.  One holds adjustable wrenches and the other holds combo wrenches. One of the adjustable wrenches says PRVTV PLVMB, so I suppose it’s older than the others that say Proto Los Angeles.

Here’s an early Snap On 9/32 set. I think it’s circa 1927 or 28. Can any of you Snap On experts help pin down a manufacture date? Thanks.

Those boards are really nice. The Proto Plomb one can be dated pretty well.

The Snap-on set looks early but I'm not the expert on those someone with more knowledge than I needs to date those. I like it it's a nice set.

That snapon 9/32 set is pretty cool.
I really like that T handle that comes with them, that's something I wouldn't mind making.
