Title: SK TOOLS 3/8" DRIVE SOCKET SET
Post by: ken w. on March 04, 2019, 10:35:45 AM
I picked this S-K Tools 3/8" drive socket set on on Friday at an estate sale. It's missing the original 1/2" socket and with another SK socket. But it doesn't match. I just had to have it. I know this is a basic set , but how come no universal ?

Great find! -- Vintage SK is always hard to pass up if the price is right; even if you don't have a need for it.  --- LOL

I checked my stock Ken and I don't have any loose S-K in the diamond loose sockets. All mine are 2-3 line.

that set is supposed to have a frankenstein ratchet. it is from the "custom" or "peg pack" line that sk made at a lower price point for auto parts stores and the like.

i would date it at late 70's to maybe late 80's.  good luck finding that socket, it is pretty rare. i may have a couple deeps in my stash if i look.

An SK twin from my stash. Complete with a stand in wannabe extension.
