I worked on a 302 that was an air compressor several times. The left bank just pumped air.

I had a Ford 302, I was never sure if half of the cylinders were working, at any given time....

The flathead 8 was two Ford A blocks joined at the crankshaft.  Of course it will run.

I've got several 1/2 of a V8 flatties, but they were made that way.  :hee20hee20hee:  Those engines share a lot of parts with the little Ford N engines.

That's one thing I like about the Vortec V-6 in the van. Being derived from the 350 V-8 there's alot of parts out there to mod with.
