No shop pictures, cause things got hairy and problems solved, required time and brain storming.

What happen, after the guys got the suspension hung. Standing back it became extremely obvious and annoying LOL. That the diff too ground angles and drive shaft were not correct.

Not terrible, just unexpected, the reason the kit so far has been very well designed. So some suspension tuning was the flavor of the day. Got the front drive worked out, doing the rear later today...... After some leaf blowing and Christmas outside decorating.


Forgot Bones did pick up the tires.............. look at that face, -maniac, hide your kids and dogs

Angles corrected, on to the wiring and interior. Wiring will require it be installed between the frame rails. The kit came with all lights, & roof mount road lamps. I show the picture of that mess, rather have the interior.

Seat came from another kit all else will be scratch built, using plastruct. A few shots of the wiring, seat, and the beginnings of the interior, paper patterns developing.

 Put Bones to work on the electrics, Hands got busy with the dash & firewall. Some paint work and bed test mount and receiver fitted up.

Hands came to work full of ideas, all jazzed and ready to pound, cut, weld and shape some sheet metal.  And dam he is noisy in the process.

A few hours later sitting in the office, head phones on playing Dark side of the Moon, alarm clocks ringing .  All's quiet in the shop ........... Hmm what's up?

Out the door too the floor, with remnants of welding smoke rising and  collecting in the ceiling. So surprised, stunned by what Hands had accomplished in such a short time, I almost fell down.

Dash, firewall, and console, from paper patterns. Mocked up and ready for the instruments and all that goes into a finished interior.

Hey Hands! take the rest of the day off have some beers on me. Tossed him some cash (overhead expenses), no worry I'll clean up the shop..

 Well now dash & console are finished, Bones, and anyone looking at him. Can pick up on he's the electric guy, And some days not real good at it  .. shocking

But puts out some good work

Body & bed in primer

Saturday, seemed like it was a good to do some paint work. Taped up the body & bed, mix some color. Couple of hours later, it went from primer to the color coat.

I 'll let this thing cure for now, have the crew start the build of the detail assemblies .

The boys had a struggle lifting and bolting on that bumper. After drenched in sweat, someone who will remain nameless. Comes up with the idea, it might have been easier to, hang it first, then add the accessories.

That person was quickly escorted to the back of the shop. Followed with a blanket party.

Once again proving, sometimes the less said the best said.. oh well the bumper looks great
