Started attending to the tool lot today. Good news and bad news.
Good news is both the 1/4" drive ratchet and breaker bar are operational. Odd rocking pawl mechanism on the ratchet - took soaking in JAFE juice for about 3 hours before I could finally get the pieces all separated - after another hour.
Bad news is I know why the technician ditched the mini CO2 gun. The main sealing ring is badly distorted. I'm hoping a regular O-ring can be made to work and not a specially-ordered one from Diversitech. I'm thinking if it was easy the guy would've done it - him pawning it makes me think it's gonna be a specialty part. We'll see. Phil, per the company catalog it's intended only for oil burner and condensate drain cleaning. I don't know what else you'd use it on. maybe filling basketballs? And it might pop them? Dunno know.
The Hy-Pro driver's use eludes me. It's a bit driver but not a regular size. Several mini bits I had didn't fit. Only one was on ebay, and that ad had no additional info for me. A search of the name yielded everything but tools. I guess I'll pull out some allen wrenches and test fit to see what size the hex is, then try and find a bit or two.
Cleaned up the Screwball, and put it with the other one I have. might have to have a sale of those. I've got so many ratcheting ball drivers now it's pretty hilarious.
