Sad to hear, but at 90 YOA he lived a full life, and by all accounts he was a good husband and had a great family. All-in-all, a life well lived.

I've never actually seen any of them, but I know that as a person none of them could hold a candle to Sean Connery.

I don't think James Bond would have taken off like it did without Sean Connery. Sad news.  :(

Btw anyone seen the untouchables ?
One of my favorite movies.
The rock was a good one as well that also featured Sean Connery.

Come to think of it I've never actually seen Sean Connery in any roles of his younger days, he was always older and distinguished in any movie I've seen him in.
Always lookin' to learn

Sir Sean Connery was a good actor and played his roles well. He was the best Bond.

I think Connery did quite well after Bond. "The Hunt for Red October" was a classic, and I thought he did a marvelous job as Harrison Ford's father in "The Last Crusade".

For the record, I thought Roger Moore made the best bond - but my favorite Bond flick was "Tomorrow Never Dies" with Pierce Brosnan. Go figure!  :o
