I picked these modern wrenches up at the MVWC swap meet. They are made in the USA so are not recent. So far I haven't found out when they were made, and none are listed on ebay.

The style of MADE IN USA on the package has an early 2000's look to me.

Can't help with dating, but I always liked those "snake bite" ratcheting open end wrenches. Metric, too! :PDT_Armataz_01_37:

A speed wrench, known by many different names and made by many a company over the decades. Some like 'em, some dont.

CoolMerc,
Good score.
These wrenches are used to remove nuts/bolts that are rounded over or are on so tight that a standard length wrench won't break them loose.
I have a metric set and they do work on problem fasteners. These are not gimmick wrenches. They were made ca. mid 2000's by Danaher (code V^).

Lauver---Thanks so much for the information, they appear to be uncommon since none were for sale on e-bay when I checked. I guess I did okay, as the seller wanted $10.00 for them and that is what I gave him.

I looked in my 2008/2009 catalog and didn't see them. I bet the metric are worth more than the SAE in todays world.

Gang,
There are two features of these wrenches that are worth noting, and that make them work:
1) the wrenches are longer than typical DOE wrenches or combo wrenches, which increases applied force, and
2) the wrench head features a cam lobe that exerts force on the bolt flats.
These two features make it easier to remove rusted and/or damaged bolts and nuts.
