As far as I know aside from some specialty non sparking adjustsbles we had nothing being made here after WF shut down.
Well now that is not the case because Snapon has started manufacturing Adjustables in the USA again.
At $90+ for a 6" I'm not buying, I'm just glad I can no longer say we don't make Adjustable wrenches here anymore.

I don't know why I care when it's not something I'll ever buy, I guess I just like when an American company starts making a tool in the USA again.

I'm wondering how long it'll be before they are discontinued, or manufacture quietly slips overseas. Like the Eagle grips. They came out with all the fanfare and promise, only to be cut 3 years later.
Maybe Snap-On's rep will keep purchasing up enough to keep them, but $90 for a 6" channellock? :-[

The unconfirmed word is that Snapon bought the eagle grip tooling.

nope, made by irega in spain. that said. i beliee they are some of the best adjustables out there.

Made in Irega in Spain and pretty nice, I think their previous adjustables were WF.
I don't believe Channellock ever made their own Adjustables.

As far as I know these have been made in the USA for decades.
Snap on is also pushing their new vise grips which are the original Peterson patent they bought.
They are nice but pricey as everything else with their logo.
My rep says backorders are still a constant thing. He's been waiting on impact sockets for almost a year and half now.

Up until recently these were made by Bahco in Sweden.
As far as the locking pliers the word is that they bought the eagle grip patents and tooling...etc but I didn't find anything concrete and official yet.
And maybe I just don't know how things work but shouldn't the price be a little lower if they're manufacturing these themselves now?
They were charging a huge markup before on the Malco rebrands, but making them in house should allow for a price reduction.

Snap on never passes the savings on to you.
I have a feeling snap on made a deal with malco to sell only to them and that's why malco "stopped" making the vise grips.
