Pawnie finds: 8-16-18
« on: August 16, 2018, 03:17:10 PM »
Went into a new to me pawnshop today. Was driving by and caught it out of the corner of my eye, and decided I had time to visit. So pulled a U-turn and went in. Was just about to ask if they had any bin tools, when I looked to my right and saw a whole WALL of shelves holding plastic parts pins FULL of loose tools! Bonanza!

Went through the wrenches most thoroughly - found the following 4 useful pieces among the Asian stuff.
7/16 Snap-On angle wrench
1/2 x 7/16 Duro angle open end
7/16" Martin combo wrench
1/4" Plumb ignition wrench

The stand-out is the Martin combo. The box end sure looks like it's Loc-Rite broaching. And the beam is thicker than on my comparable Bonney, so, this little gem is going in the work truck.

Total cost: $6

Nice grabs B-man. Always nice to find a new place to score tools.

Oh this place is something else! By far the largest selection of tools of any pawn shop in town. Just too bad it's all the way on the other side of town.
