So then I grabbed some left over chain and screws and attached the gas cap to the pipe just because I can.

Next, cut a commercial fuel dispenser hose to length at an angle so it doesnít look planned. ( Everyone has those laying around).  :D  Then drill out the shut off guts and add some chain.  :017:

Lastly, (I know you are glad to hear that), feed the chain and nozzle down the pipe and hook a bungee cord to it for easy removal.

The best part is I've made thousands of dollars fixing that issue when customers drive off with nozzle in tank. Seen pumps pulled right off the island and catch on fire from someone forgetting.

Bet you get lots of attention from that   :))
